Philippine Fashion Week 2012

The Philippine Fashion Week is a biannual fashion week held in Metro Manila, Philippines. It is produced by Runway Productions.

The Philippine Fashion Week was first conceived in 1997 by Runway Productions led by brothers Joey and Audie Espino. It was organized after Joey Espino's visit to see New York's version of the fashion event, and said that the “local fashion industry should also have the same thing to look forward to every year.” He intended to give local talent a platform to showcase their work, especially those budding designers without enough resources. Since its establishment, a number of both established and upcoming Filipino designers had shown their creations, usually setting the trend for what to expect in fashion for the coming year.

The Philippine Fashion Week was held in previous years at the Activity Center of Glorietta Mall in Makati City and NBC Tent at The Fort in Taguig City. In 2008 it was transferred to SMX Convention Center and SM Mall of Asia in Pasay City.
